Service to the Military and Families

As our nation is still at war overseas, local families are challenged with the reality of a spouse, parent, child or loved one serving away from home. Using the latest in computer and telecommunications technology, the Red Cross helps military members stationed all over the world send messages to loved ones back home during an emergency or other important event. Red Cross partnerships provide financial assistance for emergency travel that requires the presence of the service member or his or her family, burial of a loved one, or with assistance that cannot wait until the next business day. These services are available around-the-clock, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
